In light of the current wave of threats of burning the Quran first in a non-denominational Church in Florida, then in other places in the United States, it is important that people properly understand the message of the Qur'an and learn its true teachings.
It is known that people are usually afraid of what they don't know. They feel intimidated to have an open mind towards new ideas which might alter their perception towards certain issues. The only way to overcome fears is to face them. A lot of people do not have a clear idea about the Quran and its teachings. This leaves room for misinterpretation and taking verses out of its original context which might lead to the misunderstanding of the reason why the Quran was revealed in the first place.
Reading through the Quran, you will find that the Quran is not only designed for Muslims but more importantly it is for all humans as the values that it teaches are universal and fits every time and place.
